JOHN BERTRAND AO
John Bertrand AO is a man of many talents. He’s best known as a yachtsman, businessman, leader, and philanthropist. Notably, he skippered Australia 11 to victory in the 1983 America’s cup, ending 132 years of American domination. His victory in Australia 11 was immortalised in the Netflix documentary, Untold: The Race of the Century.
Completing five America’s Cups, two Olympic Games and with 25 years of experience in international competitions—John Bertrand’s legacy as an iconic Australian has been firmly cemented.
