Play With The Changes
Rochelle Jordan is a futuristically soulful R&B artist who combines 90s pop, vintage UK house and garage, and futuristic electronic bangers in her music. Born in London to British-Jamaican parents, Jordan was exposed to a variety of musical influences in her childhood, including Northern soul, Jamaican reggae, and funky UK house. After a period of spiritual and artistic growth, she returned to the music scene with a slew of ethereal soul tracks, collaborating with artists such as Machinedrum, Jacques Greene, and J-E-T-S. Her album, "Play With the Changes," showcases her personal evolution as an artist and her desire to push sound forward, drawing inspiration from powerhouse vocalists like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey. Produced by KLSH, Machinedrum, and Jimmy Edgar, Jordan's music defies categorization and is full of slinky, dancefloor-packing burners that channel her UK roots. In 2022, her "PWTC Remixed" project is set to release featuring remixes from artists such as Kaytranada, Machinedrum, and Sango. Jordan is an artist who inspires others towards originality and is not afraid to search for new directions and create change in any form.
